Tanning Preparation and After Care

• Please shave or wax your legs at least 24 hours before your tan.
• Exfoliate THOROUGHLY in shower with loofah or wash cloth. Avoid using oil based scrubs as they can leave a film, resulting in an uneven tan. Then a dry exfoliation with towel post shower. This will remove dead skin and provide a new, smooth surface for your tan. Exfoliating helps to promote even coverage and lengthens the duration of the tan.
• Moisturize well before bed

• Rinse well with water only and dry exfoliate, preferably at least 4 hours before your tan if possible. 
• Do not apply anything to the skin such as make up, deodorant, perfume or lotions. 
• Wear what you are comfortable tanning in but keep in mind what you wear will determine your tan lines. (Men must wear bottoms) 
• Bring loose fitting clothing to wear home. Please NO JEANS OR LEGGINGS. Tight socks or shoes may also affect your results. (satisfaction guarantee may be voided by wearing home tight clothing)
• Plan to stay dry! 

• Allow tan to fully process (12 hours for classic and 1-4 hours for rapid)
• Warm water rinse with lukewarm water. use your hand to gently wipe away any bronzer. 
• Pat dry. Do not rub 
• Moisturize! If you classic tanned, you can moisturize right away. If you rapid tanned please wait until your second rinse (12 hours) to moisturize. 
• Tan extenders are a good way to extend the life of your tan. If using a tan extender use once a day every other day. And don't forget to wash your palms after.
